ABOUT US

Our Story

Eat Easy Dietetics began with one mission: to make nutrition simple. Founded by Accredited Practising Dietitian Jess, the practice grew from a strong paediatric focus into a national service that now helps women, families, and couples improve their health across the full lifecycle.

Meet Jess!

I’ve always been fascinated by the way food plays such a central role in our lives — not just for nourishment, but for connection, celebration, and wellbeing. This curiosity led me to pursue a career in dietetics, and over the years, I’ve specialised in paediatrics, fertility, and prenatal nutrition. I’m passionate about early intervention and prevention, because I believe that supporting health at pivotal stages in life can have a lasting impact.

Because I am working with families and individuals during challenging stages of life I make it my goal to simplify nutrition, reduce stress, and bring a little joy back to what can often feel complicated. Seeing the small wins, whether it’s a child trying a new food, or the excitement of a positive pregnancy test is what makes my work truly rewarding.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Exercise Nutrition Science and a Master’s in Dietetics, with additional training in paediatrics, including feeding therapy approaches, and certification in fertility and prenatal nutrition. Early in my career, I worked in paediatric nutrition research and clinically at a paediatric hospital, gaining experience across a broad range of clinical areas. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and person-centred: I listen carefully, gather a comprehensive picture of each individual, and help them make small, achievable changes that fit their life.

As a parent and someone who experienced gestational diabetes during pregnancy, I bring lived experience to my practice. I understand the mental load that comes with navigating these life stages, and this empathy shapes the way I work.

My philosophy is simple: practical, no-nonsense, food-first nutrition that’s tailored to you. I believe that with the right guidance and support, nutrition can be empowering, enjoyable, and life-changing.

  • “There is no other way to put it aside from Jess is amazing to work with. She takes your concerns, your child’s history and everything that you have tried in to consideration. There is no judgment, no condescension, no feeling you feel like your efforts have been ridiculous. Jess really goes in depth into trying to work out what works best for you, your circumstances and is open to changes when something is not working out. There are endless possibilities and ideas that Jess incorporates into the visits and is very thorough in explaining everything and why she is doing certain things and ways to incorporate that at home. Sorry for the long winded review, I just cannot sing Jess’s praises enough and how she has helped myself and my family.”

  • “My 4 year-old is a very fussy eater, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Jess was incredible. She took the time to really understand my daughter and gave us practical tips that actually work. My daughter warmed to her straight away which was also very comforting. Meal times have become calmer and more enjoyable. So grateful for her support!”
